Haven keeps working on the free tier for as long as you keep it installed, with account-takeover checks included. Membership is $99 a year for every finding and unlimited records, whenever it's worth it to you. Nothing expires, nothing gets deleted, and there's no card needed to start.

Haven also makes records that end in a document rather than a dashboard: Trace, for the record of a dispute; Settle, which turns one mailbox into an Estate Record after a death; and Prepare, a Personal Record of your own affairs. We've emailed your activation code. Look for a message from hello@havenprotect.app, and check spam if it isn't there in a few minutes. Meanwhile, download Haven below and paste the code in on first launch.

Installing on Windows
  1. Open the downloaded Haven-Setup.msi.
  2. Windows SmartScreen may warn "Windows protected your PC" — click More info → Run anyway. Haven is code-signed by Haven Privacy LLC; SmartScreen earns trust from download volume, and a new app hasn't accrued it yet. You can check the signature yourself: right-click the installer → Properties → Digital Signatures, or follow the step-by-step checks on the trust page.
  3. Follow the installer, then launch Haven from the Start menu.
  4. On the first-launch activation screen, paste your code and you're in.
Installing on macOS
  1. Open the downloaded Haven-Setup.dmg and drag Haven into your Applications folder.
  2. Launch Haven from Applications. If macOS asks whether to open it, click Open.
  3. On the first-launch activation screen, paste your code and you're in.
Connecting your first source
  1. In Haven, choose Add a source and pick Google / Gmail. Your browser opens Google's sign-in.
  2. Sign in and choose the account you want Haven to scan.
  3. On the permissions screen, review the access Haven requests and click Continue. Haven reads your mail on your device to scan it — nothing about your messages leaves your machine except the small, named Tier 3 second-opinion checks you can see in the Network Activity log.

Haven has completed Google's app-verification review for the Gmail scopes it requests, so you won't see an "unverified app" warning. The full list of platform reviews Haven has passed — and what it hasn't — is on the trust page.
